EXPERIENCE – Dain has been playing bodhrán for 24 years. He has been teaching in person for about 20 years and online for the past two years. He has taught both private and group lessons and taught at ZoukFest from 2009 – 2011. He is a secondary school English teacher by trade. His style of play incorporates the contemporary top-end and traditional double-ended styles. His development has been greatly influenced by working with soloists more than session playing, although he’s had plenty of session time over the years.
AWARDS & ACCOLADES – Dain has performed in numerous small ensembles and with soloists such as Randal Bays, Roger Landes, Liz Madden, and Drea Pressley.
